Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Job Summary We're looking for a motivated and energetic Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure our guests receive top-notch service. In this role, you'll support the management team in supervising staff, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant functioning. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision. Support food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards across all kitchen activities. Oversee inventory control, including stock rotation and ordering to minimize waste and control costs. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Train and develop team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Support budgeting efforts and monitor restaurant performance to meet operational goals. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising, and team management. Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and shift operations efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management. Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous. $18.25 - $19.75 per hour
