In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your leadership will drive the success of the cafe by fostering teamwork, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring efficient food and beverage service. Duties Lead and supervise all cafe operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to ensure a seamless customer experience Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food stock levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and reconciliation Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and health regulations across all kitchen and service areas Ensure quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality food presentation Conduct interviews, hire new team members, and implement ongoing training programs for staff development Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, and optimize operational costs to meet business goals Foster a positive hospitality environment by delivering excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering orders, banquets, or special events as needed Skills Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting with supervising responsibilities Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Excellent team management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff effectively Knowledge of inventory control practices and food management procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high operational standards Familiarity with hospitality management principles including budgeting, food safety regulations, and kitchen management Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable Strong leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills to foster teamwork and resolve issues quickly Join us as our Cafe Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
