Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures. Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; manage cash handling procedures. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Train new team members and provide ongoing staff development to enhance skills in food handling, safety, and service excellence. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within fine dining establishments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervisory skills with a focus on team management, training & development, and shift management. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes in casual dining or fine dining settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Previous experience in hospitality management, kitchen management, or related roles within the food industry is highly desirable. Pay:
$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
