Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead the daily operations of our winery, bistro, and retail environment. This hands-on leadership role oversees staff, ensures exceptional guest experiences, and maintains smooth front- and back-of-house operations. Managers are expected to lead by example and will actively assist with bartending and serving guests as business needs require. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Duties Lead, train, coach, and supervise front- and back-of-house team members. Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS transactions, inventory, and merchandising. Actively bartend and serve guests during shifts while providing outstanding customer service. Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring quality, accuracy, and cleanliness. Schedule employees, manage labor, and ensure proper staffing levels. Hire, interview, onboard, and evaluate team members. Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and control product waste. Ensure compliance with health, safety, liquor, and company policies. Resolve guest concerns professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere. Support marketing initiatives, special events, and promotions to drive sales. Assist with bookkeeping, payroll, and daily sales reporting. Experience Previous management experience in a restaurant, winery, bar, or hospitality setting preferred. Bartending and serving experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with POS systems, inventory management, scheduling, and cash handling. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
