We're searching for a terrific Restaurant Manager to join the team at our 60-year-old Establishment in Downtown Canton. Our Bar & Restaurant has the charm of a local-pub mixed with the unique location in the Downtown Canton Arts District just one block from the new Centennial Plaza Event Center. We expect our new manager to have the skill-set needed to ensure optimal results across all parts of the business related to day-to-day operations and will consider a higher initial base salary depending on experience. Otherwise, we'd be happy to provide additional training to help fill any voids in the required skill-set if we're convinced of hiring an individual with strong integrity and the capacity to learn quickly. Aside from very competitive compensation packages, we always offer our managers uncapped bonuses tied directly to profits Description We are seeking a manager who excels at improving profitability while building on our strong reputation of delicious scratch-made food and great service. Our manager must be capable of organizing and motivating a growing team in the front and/or back of the house. Though a flexible schedule is necessary at times, we expect a stellar manager to create the type of organization and environment where their presence is not necessary at any particular time, thereby allowing them to adopt a more efficient and convenient schedule overall. Skills/Qualifications At least 2 years of full-service restaurant management experience or simply enough experience at managing people/ places/ service-industry businesses to be great as our manager . The most desired trait is the ability to effectively communicate with owners and staff. We expect a manager to be extremely well-organized and efficient, capable and effective at deriving useful information from business analytics (sales, inventory, etc) , and producing measurable results through implemented action & follow-up. We prefer someone with solid experience and proven results in the kitchen as well as the front of the house. We are open to candidates with experience in either FOH or BOH experience or a combination of both. We are able to train someone with the right attitude and management mindset!
