In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize workflows, and drive the success of our casual dining or quick service environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and supervising team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Train and develop staff on food safety protocols, customer service skills, and operational procedures to foster a high-performance team. Monitor shift performance, manage customer complaints promptly, and ensure smooth restaurant flow during busy hours. Implement budgeting strategies and cost control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining excellent service standards. Experience Proven management experience in a food service environment, ideally within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining settings. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety regulations. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively through training & development initiatives and performance evaluations. Strong background in restaurant operations including shift management, inventory control, catering or banquet experience is a plus. Previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous; culinary experience or barista experience can be beneficial for diverse roles within the restaurant setting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
