Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our newly renovated and reimagined bar, restaurant, and member's club concept. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient management of staff, and adherence to quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to showcase their management expertise in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Compensation Annual base salary + performance-based bonus
Responsibilities Operations Management:
Oversee all daily front- and back-of-house operations (with assistance from Director of Beverage and Kitchen Manager) to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality service.Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff; foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, hospitality, and teamwork.Guest Experience:
Maintain and elevate service standards to ensure an outstanding and consistent guest experience.Financial Performance:
Manage budgets, control costs (including labor, food, and beverage), and drive revenue growth through effective planning and execution.Inventory & Vendor Management:
Oversee ordering, inventory controls, and relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.Compliance & Safety:
Ensure full compliance with all applicable health, safety, licensing, and labor regulations.Marketing & Community Engagement:
Collaborate on promotions, events, and local partnerships to increase visibility and drive traffic.Reporting:
Track and report on key performance metrics and provide insights to ownership on operational and financial performance.Pre-Opening and Buildout :
Assistance with planning required for opening, establishing vendor and supplier relationships, and collaborating on opening-related planning and logistics. Qualifications 3+ years of management experience within the hospitality sector. Availability to work during operating hours, notably nights and weekends. Familiarity with Profit & Loss (P&L) management, or a strong willingness to learn. Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and ordering. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success in engaging guests and nurturing a positive team environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to operational excellence and hospitality. KPIs /Success Criteria P&L Metrics:
Financial performance of the business including revenue, cost management, net income, etc.Team Satisfaction :
Employee satisfaction scores and retention rates.Customer Satisfaction:
Customer ratings & reviews, member retention, member frequency/spend. About the Four Saints Club The Four Saints Club or "4S Club" is a modern interpretation of the private members club and bar that has operated at our same location on Columbus' South End since 1962. While the building has been completely renovated and elevated quite a bit, the spirit of hospitality and inclusion of the club of old remains. A private club, yes, but not fancy or pretentious. We value welcoming and inclusion and hope to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere for all. The bar program will be cocktail-forward, featuring both classics done exceptionally well and modern creations of our own. Beer, wine, and spirit selections will be tailored to the room. The kitchen will offer more than just snacks or small plates. While the food menu may be limited, each dish will use quality ingredients well prepared. Above all, we aspire to be known for our hospitality, attention-to-detail and how we care for members and guests.Pay:
