We are looking for a General Manager to come aboard with an established concept boasting a full scratch kitchen and a high volume of guests. The concept is contemporary and upscale. There is a focus on product, style, service, and true hospitality. We need a Manager who can generate respect from their crew and has a heightened ability to deliver a Guest-First experience. The property has a marquee position in the market and has consistently delivered great products and services to the community. We need someone who is highly organized and has an entrepreneurial approach. We need a leader who can run the whole show with a strong amount of resources at their fingertips. This position could lead to the leadership position in our new property that will be opening soon in Cincinnati An above-market salary and benefits stipend are being offered, along with a strong bonus program tied to financials, to attract the right fit for this position.
Interested candidates should possess:
- At least 2 years of Upper-Management experience in Upper-Casual/Fine dining style
- A track record of delivering top-of-the-line service and products
- Experience in coaching strong service standards and living a guest-first mentality
- Operations in a high-volume atmosphere (2+M)
- Skills in the BOH and Bar, with strong product knowledge
- Ability to lead and be part of a team Responsibilities Lead and motivate a diverse team of culinary and front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and energetic work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, ensuring smooth service flow during all hours of operation. Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety by supervising kitchen activities and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize food and beverage stock levels; utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and sales tracking. Handle cash management duties, including cash handling procedures, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure financial accuracy. Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food handling safety, and operational procedures to develop a highly skilled team. Coordinate with culinary teams on food production, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback actively to improve service quality; resolve guest concerns promptly with professionalism and enthusiasm. Develop budgets, control costs, and analyze financial reports to meet or exceed profitability goals while maintaining an upscale ambiance. Ensure all restaurant activities adhere to health codes, safety standards, and hospitality regulations; promote a culture of food safety and cleanliness.
