Production Lead•1st
Shift Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•4:30
PM Pay:
$20.00/hr (Base Pay)
Job Summary:
The Production Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow, training, and troubleshooting in a multi-temperature warehouse environment, including areas at or below freezing. This role supports productivity, safety, and team morale while ensuring operational goals are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily workflow and provide training and troubleshooting support in various temperature zones Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other tools to track productivity, ensuring goals and deadlines are met accurately and efficiently Provide constructive feedback to associates individually or in groups regarding performance and productivity Conduct department start-up meetings as needed Assist in updating and documenting process changes and training plans Foster a respectful and motivated team environment to support retention and effective communication Support production floor work during non-peak times, performing manual labor as required Adhere to all safety, security, and SQF requirements Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned Maintain reliable attendance and professional demeanor that reflects the company's commitment to delivering smiles
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to read and follow labels, processes, and instructions Basic math skills High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience Strong communication skills across all employee levels (peers, management, associates) Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP preferred
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in cold storage environments •10°F to 40°F) Lift up to 30 lbs continuously and up to 50 lbs occasionally Walk and stand for entire shifts (8-10 hours) and perform stooping, kneeling, crawling, and climbing #
