Restaurant Manager (Customer Experience Focused)

Mentor, OH Market Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role is responsible for ensuring high service standards, developing team members, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and profitable restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about hospitality. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience Champion a culture of outstanding guest service and hospitality Address customer feedback and resolve concerns quickly and professionally Ensure a consistent, high-quality dining experience for all guests Monitor service flow and step in to support during peak hours Team Leadership & Development Hire, train, and mentor front- and back-of-house staff Set clear expectations for service standards and performance Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Operations Management Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations Manage scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards Financial Performance Monitor and manage labor and food costs Analyze sales, customer trends, and performance metrics Implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention Handle cash management and reporting responsibilities Quality Control Ensure food and beverage quality meets company standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain consistency and efficiency Conduct regular checks on service, food presentation, and cleanliness Qualifications 2-5+ years of restaurant management experience (preferred) Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction Ability to work flexible hours Knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and health regulations Preferred Skills Experience improving customer satisfaction scores or online reviews Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment Financial acumen and experience managing budgets What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Opportunities for career growth and advancement A supportive and team-oriented work culture Employee discounts and other benefits (customize as needed)
