  • Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. Your expertise in food service, culinary arts, and inventory control will be essential in driving operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure efficient operations. Train and mentor staff on food preparation techniques, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process of new team members. Manage inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste. Oversee budgeting processes related to food costs and labor expenses. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food service. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality presentation and service. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, and fine dining standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
