- Dairy Store/Parlor Toft Dairy 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870 Schedule Approximately 40 hours per week (hours vary; must include evenings, weekends, and holidays) The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily Dairy Store/Parlor operations, leading team members, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth shift execution, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and creating a positive experience for every customer.
Operational Responsibilities:
Supervise daily shift operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and support team members to ensure efficient and accurate task completion Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Scoop ice cream and prepare milkshakes, sundaes, and other menu items Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment inside and outside the store Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner Assist with training and coaching team members Support additional duties as assigned
Physical and Work Requirements:
Ability to stand and remain on your feet for the entire shift (excluding breaks) Frequently lift, carry, and move items such as tubs of ice cream, soft serve mix, and supplies (up to 25-50 lbs.) Perform repetitive motions such as scooping, reaching, bending, and twisting Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer areas Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Previous food service and/or leadership experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Team-oriented mindset with strong leadership skills Trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and flexible
