General Manager Food - Child Nutrition

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking it's next General Manager for K12 Food Service Operations in Shawnee, OK . Candidates must possess strong client relations skills, budgetary management, USDA NSLP knowledge and employee engagement. Duties will include but are not limited to budgets and P&L management, training, HR responsibilities and day to day food service operations including menu management, point of sales operations, ordering, nutritional software, vendor management and marketing. What You'll Do Supervise front-of-house operations and food production staff. Oversee purchasing and receiving of food and supplies. Monitor inventory and perform data entry in the financial system. Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and meet Sodexo standards. Deliver high-quality food service and achieve company and client financial targets. Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships. Create strategic plans to drive operational success. Foster a positive team environment and promote employee engagement. Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. • Associate's degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field Minimum Management Experience
• 3 years Minimum Functional Experience
• 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
