Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Whataburger Assistant Manager Whataburger - Vibe Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Manager to empower our team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will be a hands-on leader, responsible for everything from cooking with fresh ingredients to maintaining a clean and comfortable restaurant for every guest.

What You'll Do Own Shift Operations :

You will be a working manager, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant and completing daily checklists for a high-performing shift.

Manage Financial Performance :

You will monitor daily cash management and manage labor, food costs, waste, and inventory during your assigned shift.

Support Team Development :

You will assist with training, provide coaching and feedback, and help with recruiting by screening initial interviews.

Ensure Guest Satisfaction :

You will handle guest interactions, lead with our culture and core values, and drive speed of service. What You'll Need You must be at least 18 years of age A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required At least one year of restaurant leadership experience is preferred A Food Handlers Certification and a Food Safety Certification are required (may vary by location) We're looking for someone with strong communication skills who can motivate and lead a team You should have knowledge of back-of-house, point-of-sale, and restaurant operating systems, as well as an understanding of budgetary concepts Physical Demands & Work Environment This is a fast-paced role where you must be able to stand for the entire shift and lift up-to 50 lbs. You may be required to work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment. The work environment can be hectic and loud, with occasional big workloads. You may also be required to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Pay:

Up to $19.00 per hour
