About this Position The University House Manager & Event Coordinator oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and event coordination of the University House. This role ensures the residence is well-maintained, guest-ready, and supports university events and leadership needs at a high standard. The position is based in the Office of the President and provides occasional support to the President's Office. Required Qualifications High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Three years related work experience. Post-secondary education may substitute for experience Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Budget tracking and expense management experience Attention to detail regarding home systems, with the ability to communicate with appropriate experts as needed Experience with event management software or scheduling tools Customer service or guest relations background Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant or related field Event management experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in hospitality, event coordination, facilities management, or a related field preferred
  • Experience managing events, vendors, and property or facility operations
  • Experience with budget tracking and working with financial processes
  • ground in guest services, customer service, or administrative support, preferably in a professional or higher education setting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in hospitality, event planning, facilities management, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

  • Experience working with vendors and managing service providers
