Job Description
Overview We are looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee daily activities, manage staff, and ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and restaurant operations, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service. Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team. Oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to maintain quality standards. Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and manage food costs effectively through inventory control systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all departments. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, providing coaching, and resolving staff or customer issues promptly. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant, casual dining, or fine dining setting. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, conduct interviews, and lead training & development initiatives. Background in hospitality management with experience in budgeting, cost control, and customer service excellence. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and handle shift management effectively.
