An employer in Hood River is seeking a hands-on, people-first Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead a fast-paced, high-energy dining environment. In this role, you'll work closely with leadership to support day-to-day operations, help develop team members, and maintain a positive, energetic workplace culture. You'll play a key role in keeping service running smoothly and setting the tone for a high-performing team. The right candidate leads by example and knows how to balance operational excellence with creating a genuinely great guest experience. REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of restaurant experience, including 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid food handler's card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- High school diploma or
GED JOB DUTIES
- Support daily operations across the restaurant, including front counter, kitchen, and prep areas.
- Empower team members through clear communication, coaching, and hands on support
- Help maintain efficient order flow and a smooth guest experience
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on accountability and respect
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and keeping stock levels organized and accurate
- Help uphold standards for cleanliness, food safety, and overall quality
- Act as a reliable point of support for staff, helping troubleshoot issues and keep shifts running smoothly HOURS
- Full-time; Flexible weekday schedule PAY
- $20.
00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
