Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, disciplined, and polished Catering Operations Manager to lead our event execution and operational logistics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership skills, and maintains open availability to support event schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Position OverviewThe Catering Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily catering operations from planning through execution. This individual ensures events run seamlessly; staff are well-managed, inventory is controlled, and clients receive exceptional service. Professionalism, attention to detail, and operational efficiency are essential in this role.

Key ResponsibilitiesStaffing ManagementCreate and manage staff schedules based on event needsMake real-time staffing adjustments as requiredOversee service staff during events, ensuring polished and professional presentationOperations & LogisticsOrder supplies, rentals, and food-related operational itemsMaintain accurate inventory and manage inventory controlsOversee packing and preparation for off-site and on-site eventsEnsure all equipment, supplies, and materials are event-ready and returned post eventEvent Oversight & Quality ControlOversee event execution through planning, delegation, and post-event reviewEnsure event flow, timing, and service standards are clearly communicated and upheld by event leadsServe as an escalation point for operational issues and provide guidance to resolve them efficientlyMonitor overall service quality and client satisfaction through reporting, feedback, and team accountabilityQualificationsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailHighly disciplined with the ability to prioritize and multitaskProfessional demeanor with polished communication skillsProven leadership and team management experienceAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsAbility to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently Ability to stand and walk for extended periods RequirementsValid Drivers License with clean driving record Ability to lift and move event equipment as neededRequirementsAt least 3 years catering experience in leadership roleCurrent Food Handlers CardCurrent OLCC Serve Permit Valid Drivers License with a good driving recordCompensation & ScheduleFull-time, Salary PositionOpportunities for growth within a dynamic and growing teamPTO BenefitsMatching 401KWhat We're Looking ForA proactive leader who takes ownership of operations, anticipates needs before they arise, and maintains a calm, solutions-oriented approach under pressure.
