Job Description

General Manager Our client is seeking a General Manager to lead a manufacturing facility focused on operational excellence, employee safety, product quality, and continuous improvement. This individual will oversee all aspects of plant operations while developing high-performing teams, driving business performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, a commitment to workplace safety, and a proven ability to build collaborative, results-driven teams. This role is on-site in Weston, Oregon. General Manager Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for plant operations, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, warehousing, and supply chain functions. Develop and mentor management teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Drive operational performance by improving productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost management initiatives. Champion workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Oversee food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance to maintain high operational standards. Partner with corporate and regional leadership to align facility objectives with broader business strategies. Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to achieve operational goals. Evaluate and recommend capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements that enhance productivity and safety. Lead cross-functional collaboration to support production planning, inventory management, shipping, and logistics operations. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to drive continuous operational improvement. General Manager Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, operations, or plant management environments. 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, warehouse, and logistics functions. Demonstrated success managing large-scale plant operations with responsibility for safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operations, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety programs. Experience developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational results. Proven ability to lead through change, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization. Experience managing budgets, capital expenditures, and long-term operational planning. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent communication, leadership, and team development capabilities.
Salary:
$140K-$160K/year + Bonus.
