Job Description
The La De Da Store (Yachats) and The Inn at Heceta Head Lighthouse are seeking a Gift Shop Co-Manager to join our experienced team. This is a hands-on position that entails working the day-to-day operations and executing managerial duties. The management duties will have a focus on technology support for the business. Candidate must have proficiency with POS system (Square), social media marketing skills and in general be IT savvy. This is a full-time position Memorial weekend through September and may be part time the rest of the year. Typical work hours vary between 930am and 630pm. Compensation is $19/hour during training and 2 week probation period. After probation period wage determination will be based on experience and ability to take on designated management duties. Roles and Responsibilities
- Create social media content on Meta. Publish regular posts, reels, and stories etc., following our social media standards and collaborate with our social media coordinator to stay up to date with new trends and practices.
- Manage the Square POS system
- stay up to date on best practices for managing inventory
- ordering and receiving product, pricing, stocking, tracking inventory, coordinate yearly physical inventory.
- Manage online Gift Shop orders and increase inventory online, including pictures and advertising efforts.
- Assist in product development for gift shop and promote in collaboration with the B&B
- baskets, value added experiences for the B&B clientele, etc.
- Create displays and rearrange displays to keep a fresh look and showcase select items.
- Customer Service Gold Training, CPR, First Aid, and AED training.
- Excellent written, verbal, and auditory communications skills with guests, staff, and management.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with exceptional customer service experience.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs and meet the physical demands of the job. Other Desirable Skills and Experience
