Job Description
Nesco Resource is looking for a Shift Manager for overseeing all aspects of production during their assigned shift while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, safety, and customer service standards. This role leads and supports production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving operational efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is a great Direct Placement opportunity! Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage production employees during assigned shifts in a high-volume manufacturing environment Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all workplace safety policies and procedures Monitor daily production schedules and ensure production goals are met efficiently and accurately Identify and resolve production, quality, and safety issues in a timely manner Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and product quality standards Utilize KPIs and production metrics to monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement Train, motivate, and develop employees while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Partner with management and support departments to achieve operational and production goals Maintain accurate shift documentation and communicate updates effectively between shifts and departments Hold employees accountable to company standards, attendance expectations, and performance requirements Qualifications Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment required Food manufacturing experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety Ability to work independently and adapt to changing production demands Proficient with production reporting and KPI tracking Schedule 7pm-7am. Schedule varies based on production needs.
