This role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact in a cool new barcade, the first in the area. Duties Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and team management Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency with established standards, including fine dining and catering services Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste while maintaining quality and freshness Plan menus, incorporating dietary requirements and customer preferences Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff and overseeing daily operations to meet service demands Oversee banquet and catering events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations Experience Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on kitchen management Extensive in menu planning is a must Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, and food handling procedures Experience managing dietary departments or special dietary needs is a plus Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate and guide team members Familiarity with restaurant management systems and inventory control tools is preferred Also offering a bonus based on food sales and other KPIs. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
