FOH Restaurant manager

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) Restaurant Manager to lead our bustling dining environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support personnel, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, reservations, and guest flow to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction. Manage food service processes such as order taking, food presentation, and ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, coordinating with kitchen staff for food preparation supplies, and minimizing waste. Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling procedures. Train new team members on service standards, food safety protocols, and operational procedures to ensure consistent quality. Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards to uphold health codes and protect guest well-being. Assist with budgeting, labor scheduling, and cost control initiatives to optimize restaurant profitability. Support kitchen management by coordinating with culinary staff on food production, quality control, and special event catering like banquets or parties. Foster a positive team environment through effective interviewing, staff development, and ongoing training & development initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling best practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising experience in hospitality or food service management. Knowledge of inventory control methods and food safety regulations; certification in food safety is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude. Experience in managing kitchen operations or culinary environments is a plus; hospitality management background is highly valued. Strong communication skills for effective team training, interviewing new staff members, and resolving guest concerns promptly.
