Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a key leader within our hospitality team, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure food and beverage quality, and uphold the highest standards of service. Your passion for the food and drink industry, combined with strong management skills, will drive the success of our bar environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary knowledge, leadership abilities, and customer service expertise in a fast-paced, lively setting. Duties Supervise all aspects of bar operations, including food preparation, drink service, and inventory control to ensure smooth daily functioning. Lead staff training and development initiatives to promote excellent customer service, proper food handling, and safety protocols. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Oversee kitchen management tasks related to food production, culinary standards, and food safety compliance. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Conduct interviewing and hiring processes for new team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce. Monitor inventory levels regularly, order supplies as needed, and control costs to maximize profitability. Ensure adherence to health regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety practices across all operations. Support catering events, banquet services, or special functions by managing food preparation and team coordination. Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training initiatives. Skills Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on bar or food service environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management principles. Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and efficiently. Supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings is highly desirable. Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to optimize operational efficiency. Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, interviewing, and team management. Knowledge of food safety standards including proper food handling practices and sanitation procedures. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of service quality. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus; familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous. Join us as a Bar Manager where your energy fuels our success!
