Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service operations, and a passion for hospitality management. This role involves overseeing daily restaurant functions, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a background in food industry management, including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service environments, with experience in training, budgeting, and operational excellence. Duties Oversee all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer experience Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain efficient workflow and excellent service standards Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold sanitation standards across all areas Manage shift schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and special events such as banquets or catering services Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to meet operational goals Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions for new team members Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth Qualifications Proven management experience within the food service industry, including casual dining or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in staff training & development and team management Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally Prior experience supervising restaurant operations or managing a hospitality venue such as a hotel or catering service is preferred Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively Join our team as a General Manager - Restaurant to shape memorable dining experiences through effective leadership and operational excellence.
