In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, maintain high standards of service and food safety, and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is flexible, dependable, and capable of opening and closing the restaurant, covering shifts when needed, and managing all day-to-day operations. This role also requires experience in marketing, advertising, party planning, liquor ordering, and customer relations. Duties Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and exceptional customer service. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, inventory control, cash handling, and POS system oversight. Cover shifts as needed and maintain smooth operations during busy periods or staffing shortages. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, while maintaining overall operational compliance. Manage liquor ordering and maintain appropriate inventory levels for bar operations. Develop and execute marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement. Coordinate and assist with party planning, private events, catering, and special promotions. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while handling guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Monitor restaurant performance metrics such as sales, labor costs, and customer satisfaction; implement strategies for continuous improvement. Conduct staff training sessions focused on hospitality, operational procedures, customer service excellence, and workplace standards. Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and an outstanding guest experience. Maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused work culture. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality management, or food service management. Strong leadership and team supervision skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Experience managing day-to-day restaurant operations, staffing schedules, and shift coverage. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards with a commitment to maintaining compliance. Experience with liquor ordering, inventory management, and general restaurant operations. Strong customer service and customer relations skills. Experience with marketing, advertising, event coordination, or party planning is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential. Food and wine knowledge is strongly preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
