We produce high-quality craft beers that celebrate the seasonality of NEPA and pair them with an array of culinary compliments from our kitchen. Wallenpaupack Brewing Co. aims to create a community focused brewpub experience and encourage the exploration of craft beer and cuisine. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Brewpub Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping us continue to build our identity as a community space where locals and seasonal visitors can celebrate what makes this area incredible while enjoying great craft beer and delicious food. Tips Responsibilities:
Assist Brewpub Manager with supervision of staff to ensure tasks are being completed correctly during opening, service and close Interact and engage with customers, promote a positive brewpub atmosphere and provide customers the best experience Promote a positive atmosphere for all staff Supervise, enforce and enhance opening/closing procedures Assist with training all brewpub staff Ability learn and cover all positions in brewpub including hosting, beertending, food running and bussing Assist with changing kegs and ensuring beer served meets company quality standards Coordination with Brewpub Manager, Head Brewer and Executive Chef for execution of special events Manage guest relations and resolve questions and issues as needed Compliance with and enforcement of all PALCB rules and regulations regarding alcohol service Compliance with and enforcement of all PA Dept of Agriculture rules and regulations regarding alcohol service Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the craft beer styles preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience required working in a supervisory role in a taproom, high volume restaurant, or brewpub PA RAMP Server/Seller Training Required Ability to interact promptly, professionally and courteously via email, telephone and in person Demonstrated proficiency with a POS system, Excel, Word and Outlook Collaborative spirit with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic Ability to give and receive constructive feedback Ability to perform the essential functions of the job such as operating taproom equipment, setting up tables and chairs, moving cases and kegs of beer, using a telephone, answering emails, etc. Availability to work nights and weekends is required. Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs and stand for at least 8 hrs
