Assistant General Manager - Schulson Collective Philadelphia, PA Schulson Collective is seeking a dynamic, hospitality‑driven Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our acclaimed, high‑volume concepts. This role is designed for a polished operator with exceptional leadership instincts, refined service standards, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences in a fast‑paced, high‑profile environment. About the Role The Assistant General Manager serves as a key partner to the General Manager, driving daily operations and shaping the restaurant's culture and performance. This leader will oversee all FOH management and staff, refine service execution, and collaborate closely with both FOH and BOH teams to uphold the brand's reputation for excellence. The AGM is expected to lead with confidence, precision, and a deep understanding of hospitality at the highest level. Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager to make strategic, day‑to‑day decisions that ensure seamless operations and uphold brand standards. Maintain uncompromising quality in product and service; identify and correct operational or fiscal issues proactively. Recruit, train, and develop FOH managers and staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and growth. Lead by example on the floor—maintaining flow, engaging guests, and ensuring every interaction reflects Schulson's signature hospitality. Oversee reservations, VIP protocols, and private dining execution with precision and polish. Manage labor and liquor cost goals, nightly reporting, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, tastings, and trend analysis. Ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds Schulson Collective standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Act as General Manager in their absence, maintaining continuity and leadership presence. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience in upscale, fine‑dining, or high‑volume chef‑driven environments. Proven ability to lead large teams with clarity, confidence, and high expectations. Strong financial acumen and operational discipline. Exceptional communication skills and a polished, guest‑focused presence. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Restaurant Management preferred.
