Job Description

Crane Room Grille is hiring a full-time Service Manager/Front of House Manager to lead our team. This role requires an honest, hospitality-driven leader with proven operational experience leading a busy, dynamic restaurant.
Team Leadership:
Inspire and guide the front-of-house team. Maintain high standards, foster a respectful work environment, and consistently hold staff accountable.
Floor Operations:
Oversee daily dining room flow, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Labor Management:
Control labor costs by optimizing staff levels during business hours and ensuring compliance with breaks. Must be available nights and weekends. We are open Tuesday through Saturday. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Effective running of Shifts/Execution (10 GREAT SHIFTS)
  • Guest Relations/100% Table Visits
  • Opening Shifts/Closing Shifts,
  • Focus on Guests, Speed of Service, and Steps of Service
  • Complete opening/closing supervisor checklists
  • "Error Free" Cash Handling
  • Service Team Member Daily Line-ups
  • Update Line-up Notebook (Inform, Educate, Motivate)
  • Ongoing Training of Service Staff
  • Assist and direct the Host Staff / Use door as Pivot Point/Post
  • Communicate to Kitchen regarding guest volumes
  • Enforce company policies and employee handbook
  • Supervise front of house staff during shift to ensure Great Shift Execution
  • Problem Solving:
    Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills with the ability to make swift, effective and fair decisions.
  • Attend team meetings
