Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and proactive Assistant General Manager to help manage the daily operations of our busy casual American restaurant. You will lead our team, maintain high-quality service standards, drive sales, and maximize profitability, ensuring a top-tier guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership:
Manage daily shift operations (opening/closing), driving high-volume efficiency and ensuring all company protocols and safety standards are met.
Team Development:
Recruit, train, coach, and discipline hourly team members to ensure professional service and high staff retention.
Guest Service & Experience:
Deliver outstanding guest service by handling guest complaints efficiently and Ensuring the CHARM Service Model is executed.
Financial & Inventory Control:
Assist with inventory management, food cost optimization, labor scheduling, and analyzing profit and loss statements to maximize profitability.
Menu & Quality Management:
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure consistency. Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant management role, specifically within casual dining. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a large team. Strong financial acumen (P&L analysis, inventory control, labor scheduling). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Excellent communication skills and a "guest-first" mentality. Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office/restaurant management software. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for 9+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced, and high-temperature environment.
