Job Overview We are excited to welcome a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the re-opening of our vibrant dining establishment in State College, PA. This role is perfect for a passionate hospitality professional eager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and foster a positive team environment. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be instrumental in setting the tone for our new chapter, managing daily functions, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. Your leadership will drive success and create memorable moments for our guests from day one. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient performance. Lead staff training and development initiatives to uphold service standards, safety protocols, and food handling procedures. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS to optimize costs and reduce waste. Supervise kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining high-quality food production. Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately. Coordinate shift schedules, assign duties, and supervise team members to foster a collaborative work environment. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with professionalism. Skills Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and inventory tracking. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising teams, and conducting interviews. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests from diverse backgrounds. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement effective inventory control measures. Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is a plus; hospitality or hotel experience is highly valued.
