Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for an energetic and experienced Bar Manager, Fine Dining, to lead our bar operations in a sophisticated dining setting. As a key leader in our team, you'll oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of bar operations within the fine dining environment, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to maintain profitability. Train and develop bar staff on drink preparation, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Supervise the preparation of beverages, ensuring quality standards are consistently met or exceeded. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; manage cash handling procedures securely. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure cleanliness of the bar area at all times. Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant management to coordinate service flow during busy shifts and special events like banquets or catering. Qualifications Proven experience managing a bar in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques related to beverages and food presentation. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling. Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervising, and team management. Background in food safety practices and hospitality management principles. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during shift management in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with culinary or kitchen management is a plus; strong customer service skills are essential.
