Catering Operations Manager /
Director Compensation:
Commission-Based (% of Catering Sales) with Unlimited Growth Potential Fun Trucks LLC (Grilled Cheese Gangsters & Fat Kid Burgers food trucks) is looking for an experienced Catering Operations Manager to build and lead our new catering department from the ground up. We already have an established brand, a licensed commercial kitchen, and the resources needed to support growth. What we need is an industry expert who knows catering inside and out and is ready to take ownership of creating a successful catering program. This is not a traditional management position. We are looking for someone who can develop, implement, and oversee every aspect of the catering operation while reporting directly to ownership. Responsibilities Build and launch a profitable catering department Develop catering menus and pricing strategies Create operational systems and procedures Manage food production and event execution Coordinate staffing needs for catering events Generate catering sales through networking, marketing, and relationship building Establish and maintain client relationships Oversee scheduling, logistics, delivery, and event planning Track sales, costs, profitability, and performance metrics Provide weekly reports to ownership on sales, bookings, and department performance Ensure food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction Qualifications Extensive catering industry experience required Proven success managing or growing a catering operation Strong knowledge of large-scale food production and event execution Experience with menu development and food costing Strong leadership and organizational skills Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset Ability to work independently and take full ownership of department performance What We Provide Established and growing food brand Licensed commercial kitchen Existing customer base and community presence Ownership support and resources Opportunity to build something from the ground floor Compensation This position is compensated through a percentage of catering sales. The right candidate will have significant earning potential based on the growth and success of the department they build.
