In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure smooth service flow, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, customer service, and team management. Duties Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Oversee customer service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff performance to optimize productivity and morale. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation. Maintain inventory control for front-of-house supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate and ordering supplies as needed. Train new team members on food handling, customer service protocols, POS operation, and safety procedures; provide ongoing staff development. Enforce food safety standards and health regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies. Collaborate with kitchen management on food production coordination during service hours; support food presentation standards. Assist in managing restaurant operations during busy periods or staff shortages to maintain high-quality service. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring sales performance and controlling labor costs while maintaining excellent guest experiences. Skills Proven leadership experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally. Experience with inventory control, food management, and cost optimization strategies. Ability to train staff on food handling, safety protocols, and service standards; comfortable conducting interviews and onboarding new employees. Familiarity with managing shift schedules in quick-service or casual dining environments; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices including food production, catering, bar operations, and hotel experience is advantageous.
