Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high service standards. Support food preparation and kitchen management to uphold quality and safety standards across all menu items. Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Train and develop team members on food safety, customer service, food handling, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and motivated workforce. Supervise food production, catering events, bar service, and banquet functions to deliver memorable guest experiences. Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and assist with budgeting to optimize restaurant profitability. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service; address guest concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction. Participate in interviewing prospective employees and contribute to hiring decisions to build a strong team aligned with company values. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management; culinary experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient cash handling skills required. Demonstrated supervising experience with staff training & development capabilities. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and food industry best practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Previous hospitality management experience including shift management, customer service excellence, and restaurant operations is preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
