Assistant Manager

Big Fish is seeking an energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in our high-volume, food-first waterfront restaurant featuring live music, sports watch parties, and a large indoor/outdoor bar environment. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality instincts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. The position is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and will start in late June 2026.

Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations. Lead and support front-of-house staff during service. Ensure exceptional guest experiences. Manage labor, scheduling, and floor execution. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist with inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination. Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts. Work closely with ownership and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

2+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume preferred). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Passion for hospitality, food, and team culture.
