Job Description

Front of House Manager Southbound Smokehouse Overview We are on the lookout for a passionate and energetic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives top-notch service and has a memorable experience. You'll oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of food safety, customer service, and restaurant management. Duties Supervise front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, seating arrangements, and managing reservations. Lead staff training and development to ensure excellent customer service and efficient food handling. Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours in a quick service or casual dining setting. Manage inventory control and monitor stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and POS system operations. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations across all front-of-house activities. Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food presentation, timing, and quality assurance for both casual and fine dining experiences. Skills Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment with supervising responsibilities. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with cash handling expertise. Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production within casual or fine dining settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally. Leadership qualities with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team management. Familiarity with food safety protocols, inventory control, and food handling practices. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
