Full Job Description Job Description:
An Operations Manager is responsible for all Guest service, restaurant and bar profitability and suggestive selling standards including but not limited to food and beverage and bar personnel. Participates in the hiring, training, scheduling, development, progressive discipline and performance evaluations for the bar personnel. In addition, executes the service of all parties and banquets in cooperation with Sales Department and DOSM. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following;
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Ensuring all service and suggestive selling standards are met.  Coordinating all sales contests to increase guest check average.  Managing labor and cost of goods sold (COGS) replacements and supplies line items related to bar operations.  Executing all bar requirements for parties and banquets.  Participating in the Bar team member recruiting, hiring, training, development progressive discipline and discharge.  Ensuring compliance with ABC regulations and Alcohol Awareness Program.  Participating in management meetings and communicating to Management on bar operations.  Scheduling and labor management.  Overseeing basic POS programing and training for bar team members.  Managing breaks to avoid break penalties.  Ensuring a harassment-free work environment.
Job Requirements Skill/Experience:
Minimum of two years Restaurant Management experience in a high-volume environment and possess basic computer skills and spreadsheet familiarity. Would prefer a kitchen background, however not mandatory.
Job Activities:
 Manages and leads each shift to ensure maximum Guest satisfaction and profitability.  Oversees suggestive selling contests and education.  Manages guest service standards and education.  Administers Bar team member hiring, training, development, scheduling, performance reviews, progressive discipline and discharge.  Resolves problems and implements correction actions.  Manages Guest recovery situations.  Administers bar product ordering, receiving and rotation.  Functions in a hands-on work environment.  Interacts with guests and provides "best for the Guest" service.  Assists on the floor when and where necessary to ensure positive Guest experience.
