Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team! This role is perfect for someone with a passion for food service, exceptional leadership skills, and a desire to create memorable customer experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. Your energetic approach and management expertise will help drive our team toward success while maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Lead and support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and excellent customer service. Supervise and train team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols to uphold quality standards. Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability. Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing staff to foster a motivated and skilled team. Monitor food production processes, including catering, banquets, bar service, and quick-service operations to ensure efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and shift supervision. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in casual dining or fine dining environments. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, food handling regulations, and kitchen management. Previous experience in hospitality management roles such as assistant manager or restaurant supervisor is highly desirable.
