The Heirloom Room is Rocky Waters Motor Inn's signature fine dining experience, rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Appalachia. As Dining Room Manager, you are a key leader on the restaurant management team -- supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front of house operations, driving revenue, developing the team, and ensuring every guest leaves with an exceptional dining experience. This is a role for an energetic, hands-on hospitality professional who leads by example, takes ownership of results, and is committed to building a positive, high-performing team culture. What You'll Do Guest Experience & Service Standards Ensure the restaurant consistently meets or exceeds AATMOS and Heirloom Room brand service standards Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, always resolving with a commitment to superior service Analyze service and quality issues, identify training needs, and implement solutions to optimize the guest experience Maintain open channels of communication with the Restaurant Manager, team members, and guests at all times Financial & Operational Management Assist in the management of overall restaurant and bar operations while maintaining quality standards and maximizing food and beverage profitability Aggressively pursue revenue goals and effectively utilize menu engineering tools Control and manage all operational expenses including labor, overtime, food costs, and supply costs Enforce company procurement guidelines and seek cost-saving strategies where appropriate Assist in preparing and managing the annual operating budget and attend budget meetings regularly Be proficient in all computer systems and utilize them per AATMOS Standard Operating Procedures Actively enforce all safety policies to protect associates, guests, and company assets in compliance with OSHA standards Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times Team Leadership & Development Lead, inspire, and develop the front of house team including servers, hosts, bartenders, and shift leads Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of all front of house team members Motivate and coach team members, set clear goals, hold team members accountable, and provide consistent feedback, rewards, and recognition Proactively address team member concerns and foster a collaborative, positive work environment Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, and lead by example with energy and enthusiasm
