Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will manage food preparation, ensure food safety standards, supervise staff, and maintain efficient kitchen workflows. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and support personnel, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence. Oversee all food production activities, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared efficiently and consistently. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary restrictions and catering needs while maintaining creativity and variety. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards through regular inspections and staff training. Coordinate catering events, banquet services, and special functions to deliver outstanding service aligned with client expectations. Oversee shift management, assigning tasks effectively to meet operational demands during busy periods while maintaining high standards of service. Qualifications Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant supervision with a strong background in fine dining or hospitality environments. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings. Extensive knowledge of food handling safety procedures and dietary department standards. Familiarity with inventory management systems and food cost control practices. Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, catering operations, and overall restaurant or hospitality management. Experience with banquet operations, event catering, and shift management preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and team development.
