Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high standard of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in restaurant management. As the driving force behind our team, you will foster a positive work environment, optimize operational efficiency, and elevate the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision. Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and adherence to sanitation standards to ensure a safe and clean environment. Supervise kitchen management, food production, and catering services to maintain quality standards across all menus. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting. Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff members to build a motivated and professional team. Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth daily operations during busy hours. Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to meet financial goals. Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring memorable dining experiences. Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to select qualified candidates with relevant restaurant experience. Lead initiatives for training & development programs to enhance team skills in food handling, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards. Qualifications Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of food industry operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in supervising teams and managing shifts effectively. Background in food service management with expertise in inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Experience in staff training & development along with interviewing skills for hiring top talent. Knowledge of hospitality management practices including kitchen management, catering, bar operations, and banquet services is advantageous.
