Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and motivate your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction Lead, train, and develop staff members in food preparation, customer service, POS system usage (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food safety protocols Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability Supervise kitchen activities including cooking, food handling, and food production to uphold hygiene standards and consistency in dishes Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures; oversee shift management including scheduling and delegation of tasks Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation practices Support budgeting efforts by controlling costs related to food service management while maintaining quality standards Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training & development of new team members to build a motivated workforce Manage customer feedback proactively to resolve issues swiftly and enhance overall guest experience Collaborate with management on promotional activities, catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed Skills Proven experience in restaurant management with supervising responsibilities in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management practices Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training & development; capable of motivating teams toward shared goals Familiarity with inventory control methods, budgeting principles, and food safety regulations (including HACCP standards) Exceptional customer service skills; adept at resolving conflicts diplomatically while maintaining professionalism Background in hospitality management with experience in fine dining or hotel settings preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during shift management; strong organizational skills essential Knowledge of catering services, banquet operations, bar management including barista or coffee experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to train staff on culinary techniques and food handling procedures; supervisory experience highly valued Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding culinary experiences! Pay:
$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
