This role serves as a key operational leader responsible for improving productivity, quality, customer service, safety, and profitability across the organization. Responsibilities Support the General Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing and business operations. Drive operational performance by monitoring production, quality, safety, delivery, and cost metrics. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve profitability. Coordinate activities across production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and customer service functions. Develop, implement, and standardize operational processes, procedures, and best practices. Analyze operational data and identify corrective actions to address performance gaps. Support workforce planning, staffing, training, and employee development initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Support quality management (ISO) and food safety programs, including SQF certification efforts and regulatory compliance. Partner with the sales team to ensure customer requirements and service expectations are met. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and identifying opportunities for operational savings. Serve as acting operational leader in the absence of the General Manager and support succession planning efforts. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience. Strong knowledge of production operations, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing operational projects. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with G-Suite and ERP systems, with a strong preference for SysPro. Preferred Experience in printing, labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, or related manufacturing industries. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence programs. Knowledge of food packaging SQF, HACCP, and ISO requirements. Project management experience involving equipment installations and process improvements.
Pay:
