Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Catering & Concessions Manager to lead our food service operations in the Nashville market. This energetic professional will oversee all aspects of catering and concessions, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient food production, and seamless management of staff and resources. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in food service management to drive the success of our concessions and catering programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality of service while maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Duties Manage daily catering and concessions operations, including overseeing food preparation, serving, and cleanup processes. Supervise and train staff on food safety standards, customer service protocols, POS systems, and operational procedures. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely inventory control, food quality, and cost management. Conduct thorough cost analysis of menu items and overall food program Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile daily sales, and maintain accurate financial records. Develop menus tailored to event needs, ensuring compliance with health regulations and quality standards. Implement staff scheduling, shift management, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity. Lead efforts in food safety training, sanitation practices, and adherence to all relevant health codes. Manage budgets for catering events and concessions operations while seeking opportunities for efficiency improvements. Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure smooth execution of catering services at various functions. Monitor customer feedback to continually enhance service quality and satisfaction levels. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Proficiency with POS systems for sales processing and inventory tracking. Strong background in inventory control, food handling, and food safety regulations. Proven leadership skills in supervising teams, conducting training sessions, and managing staff development initiatives. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully. Experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles with a focus on catering or concessions operations. Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards; experience with food production planning is a plus. Knowledge of catering logistics for large events or banquets; experience in hotel or conference center settings is advantageous. Skilled in interviewing, hiring, training new team members, and fostering a positive team environment. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in shift management, food safety compliance, and operational workflows.
