Food Service Manager Position Type:

Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hands-on Dietary / Food Service Manager to lead our team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, nutritious, and exceptional dining experiences. This confidential search is for a leader who can maintain high standards of food safety, manage a dedicated kitchen staff, and bring a passion for hospitality and service.

Key Responsibilities Department Leadership:

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all dietary and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Menu & Dietary Compliance:

Plan and oversee the preparation of appealing, nutritious menus that comply with nutritional standards, dietary restrictions, and specific regulatory guidelines.

Inventory & Budgeting:

Manage food and supply procurement, control inventory, and monitor departmental costs to align with the annual budget.

Sanitation & Safety:

Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, food handling, and sanitation in strict accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Department of Health).

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular Audits of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure maximum satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred. At least one year of experience in administration will be helpful; however, it is not required. At least one year of experience in a clinical setting will be helpful; however, it is not required. May be required to be licensed and/or certified as required by specific state guidelines (such as Certified Dietary Manager / CDM status). May be required to have or obtain a Food Handlers Certificate or Sanitation Course completion, as required by state regulations.
