Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a general manager to run our custom fertilizer business. A modest amount of horticultural experience is necessary. Some experience with video content creation, or the ability to learn, is also necessary. Urban Farm Fertilizers is a small fertilizer business specializing in high-performance liquid plant nutrients. Our nutrients are used in hydroponics, container, and soil gardening. Our customer base is mostly individual gardeners nationwide to whom we ship directly. We've been in business 16 years and are financially healthy. You will have an opportunity to grow Urban Farm Fertilizers and benefit in profit-sharing based on that growth. Duties Hands-on involvement in mixing, bottling, packaging, and shipping bottled plant nutrients. Processing online orders and shipping them. Managing a small demonstration/research greenhouse. Producing 3-8 minute informative, instructional videos for our Youtube channel. Posting clips on other social media platforms. Managing employees and payroll. Managing and expanding our website.
