Duties Assist the restaurant management team in overseeing daily operations, including food preparation, service flow, and staff coordination. Supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff, providing guidance on food handling, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Manage inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies; monitor usage and minimize waste. Oversee cash handling procedures, including POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and security. Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food production, service techniques, and safety compliance. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all restaurant areas. Assist with shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising daily tasks, and resolving operational issues promptly. Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production and labor while maintaining high-quality service standards. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management; culinary experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales processing. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management, training & development, and staff interviewing. Knowledge of food safety practices, inventory control, and food handling procedures aligned with hospitality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining a positive team environment. Hospitality management experience preferred; hotel or catering background is a plus.
