Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer service skills Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards and safety compliance Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at the end of shifts Supervise food production processes in kitchen management, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food quality Support customer service excellence by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally Coordinate with kitchen staff on food safety protocols, catering orders, banquet events, and special promotions Monitor restaurant cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within quick service or fast food restaurants Proven leadership with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food management to optimize operational efficiency Experience with staff training & development programs to foster team growth and engagement Familiarity with food safety standards, kitchen management practices, and hospitality industry regulations Ability to manage multiple priorities during shift management while maintaining a positive attitude Background in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus Demonstrated leadership in training & development initiatives with a focus on team management and performance improvement Join us as an Assistant Manager where your energy fuels our success!
