Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food preparation, and efficient management of staff and resources. Your leadership will foster a positive dining environment, uphold food safety standards, and drive the overall success of the restaurant. Duties Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth daily functions. Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and control costs. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train and develop staff on food service procedures, customer service excellence, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across the kitchen and dining areas. Lead efforts in customer service excellence by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate catering events or banquet services when applicable to expand restaurant offerings. Monitor budget adherence, analyze sales data, and implement strategies for increased revenue growth. Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages staff engagement, training & development, and leadership growth. Qualifications Proven management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise essential. Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality or food service management roles. Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively while managing multiple priorities. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning within the food industry. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently in a fast-paced environment; previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience is highly desirable.
